We hold an initial Design and Tasting Consultation with all Wedding Cake Customers, as well as by customer request. Design and Tasting Consultations are offered for the nominal fee of $25.00 for two guests. Your Design and Tasting Consultation is scheduled with the bakery designer for 1 hour, with consultation times easiest to schedule Monday - Wednesday. Other appointment time available based on bakery schedule. This fee is for custom choice of two cake flavors, two fillings, and two icings, with additional samples available for an additional charge based upon requested additional sample(s). Additional Guests may attend for an additional charge of $10 per person. All samples are made fresh to order for each Tasting Consultation with your fee payable at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled tasting. Your Design and Tasting Consultation fee is non-refundable, but is applied to your total cake cost if your order is booked with Flavorful Art and your remaining deposit is paid within 14 days of your consultation.

A deposit of $50.00 (non-refundable, applied to Total
Cake Cost) secures your order on the bakeries schedule. When your celebration cake design and flavors are finalized, a
payment to equal 25% of Total Cake Cost is due (your date deposit of $50.00 will be applied to the 25%). Design and flavors will
need to be determined within 30 days, with the 25% remaining deposit due. If not finalized, an estimate quote
will be used as the baseline for the 25% deposit amount. The remaining balance is to be paid in full at least 15 working
business days prior to order completion date, or date of order if event is 15 days or less away from order date. Delivery and
Setup charges for Springfield city limit is $25.00, with a delivery quote provided for areas outside of Springfield city
limit. Any design changes may be accommodated, with or without additional charges, only until Date of Final Payment. The
reason behind this policy being that when a date is reserved by a customer, and there are no other slots remaining for said date,
we turn away any potential new orders coming in to our bakery for that date. Therefore, we lose out on all the other potential orders
while holding that date for the customer who has paid their deposit to book that date.
Cake prices begin
at the following price points, with your final price quote determined by the complexity of your cake design, number of cake flavors,
and type and number of fillings.
Cake toppers/toys/figures/etc..., unless sugar work, are not included in quoted price. Let bakery staff know what cake addition(s) you have during the design process to make sure the addition(s) and cake design complement each other. This is important when designing your custom cake to fit a copyrighted themed event - as we are respectful of the rightful owners of those copyrighted images/characters/etc...
Wedding cakes top tier may or may not be included in the number of servings to be served at the wedding reception, as some couples enjoy sharing it on their first anniversary. When talking with bakery staff about ordering your wedding cake, please let them know if you will be saving your top tier.
